In order to maintain the IP65 rating of the luminaire, all maintained emergency conversions should be integral within the body. Fixing the Fitting

To retain the IP 65 rating of the Meteor fitting, the bodies should not be drilled. Instead the metal clip that is supplied with the fitting should first be attached to the fixing plane (1), and then the fitting should be offered up to the clip and fixed in place by the tension in the clip (2). Please note the fixing centres are for the centre of the clip when attached to the body.

For suspending the fitting there are small triangular metal suspensions that attach to the metal clip, as shown here (the actual suspension cable is an optional extra).
